The joke that Bender tells but never finishes (while crawling through the ceiling) actually has no punchline. According to Judd Nelson, he ad-libbed the line. Originally, he was supposed to tell a joke that would end when he came back into the library and said, “Forgot my pencil”, but no one could come up with a joke for that punchline.
Did they just make up this entire movie on the spot.
STOP TAGGING TRIGGERS WITH ////// OR - OR CW OR TW OR TW: IT DOES NOT FUCKING WORK.
This is an example of what does work: #drugs or #drugs *random numbers here* PLEASE TAG THEM LIKE THAT.
why …. didn’t you all tell me this
I - what?! What extension is being used with this result? Because the one I found in XKit literally picks up words from inside the text of the post itself. So if I say I don’t want to see anything with the world “alcohol,” it’ll pick that right out of the middle of a paragraph and hide the whole post for me. I’ve never even understood a reasoning for tagging triggers (unless it’s an image, of course) because it would be picked up right in context. I thought maybe just had the phrase “alcohol tw” blocked or something (especially since I saw a post not but a week ago specifying people to block it in that format, and not “tw alcohol” or any punctuation inbetween).
I mean - I understand that if you’re being triggered, your first instinct is to calm down and not talk to the blog-owner about their triggering post or, in the case of this person, they just really needed to write a pissed off post. And that’s all understandable, for sure.
But once ya’ll have control over your minds again and are able to overcome the panic, if you wouldn’t mind letting us know what didn’t work, what will work, and what extension you’re using, we would be able to help - otherwise we have absolutely no idea.
But I’m starting to get the gist that there are a lot of extensions out there that work differently from one another.
